My personal blog was originally intended to help me keep in touch with people, and be a place where far away friends and relatives could get current information about my daily life in Japan. However, since most of my friends and family members have never been to Japan, I also try to provide some background information on my blog, about Japanese culture, customs and traditions, to make it easier for everyone to understand how those things shape my everyday life here. Surprisingly, a number of other people have stumbled upon my blog, and have found that kind of information to be useful, interesting, or both. Over time, some of those people have even become new friends of mine. Anyway, whether you are a relative, an old friend, or someone who might turn out to be a new friend, I hope you find things you enjoy on my blog, or find information that you need on it. Thanks for visiting my blog, and I hope you come back soon.
